Thanksgiving

We are grateful to have been able to spend Thanksgiving with my family in PA. The boys really enjoyed playing with their cousins, Brynn (10) and Mallory (8), and seeing Uncle Fred, Aunt Kristin and Grandma Schmidt. Cadel and I had our first Rockband lesson and we all visited a Christmas tree farm.

Brotherly love...

New photos

For all of you that are wondering if Cadel looks like Anton, I've slipped in a photo of Cadel at 4 months. They look pretty similar, but there are some differences. Cadel is in the first picture.

I stayed home the other day with the boys. Cadel helped me bake a cake. He also helped me take care of Anton. As I was working in the other room I heard him say "my baby Anton is sleeping with your baby Anton". Pretty cute!

It's snowing!!

It wouldn't be so bad, but it's the 3rd or 4th time this month that it has snowed. It's not even Halloween yet and we're building snowmen. Oh well. Maybe this is a sign that spring will come early. As you can see, Cadel didn't seem to mind the white stuff at all. In fact, he had quite a bit of fun shoveling and playing in the snow.

Anton is growing quickly. He has started smiling and cooing. Cadel continues to enjoy playing with his brother, though not as much as he enjoys riding his bike. Cadel watched the catepillars turn into butterflies at Kari's house. He didn't mind holding them as long as they were on a stick.

We packed a picnic and took the boys to Como Zoo this past weekend. Cadel enjoyed riding the train and fire trucks and seeing the monkeys, gorillas and lions. Anton even got to join in the fun by riding on the carousel (he's in the sling).

Anton Sebastian Wolf was born 7/20/2009 at 4:24 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs 0.3 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. As you can see Cadel loves his new baby brother.

Why the name? Well, Anton brought Cadel a backpack with some new books. The Carrot Seed has quickly become a favorite. He gets the biggest smile on his face when reading it. He's also taken an interest in going to the farmer's market this summer and buying produce. His newest favorite - broccoli!
